STARSHOT

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 August 2026

The short version: to create your picture, the photo you choose is sent to our server and to an AI image service. It is used for that one generation and then deleted. We ask for no account, no name and no email, and we never use your photo to train anything.

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Starshot (package ai.starshot.app, “the App”) handles information. Published on Google Play by an individual developer. Contact: o9753241@gmail.com.

1. The photo you upload

This is the one piece of genuinely personal data the App handles, so it deserves the clearest explanation.

1a. Whose photo you may upload

This matters more than it might seem — for you as much as for us.

You are responsible for having the right to use every photo you upload. If we receive a substantiated complaint about a specific image, we will remove it and may restrict access to the App for the device that created it.

2. Height and weight

You may optionally enter height and weight so the generated body proportions look right. These two numbers are stored on your device and sent with the generation request. They are not tied to any identity and are used for nothing else.

3. Device identifier

The App generates a random identifier on first launch and stores it on your device. It lets the server count your free generation and remember packs you purchased. It is a random string — not your Google account, not your phone number, not the Android advertising ID — and it disappears when you uninstall the App.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Free generations require watching a short rewarded ad, supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect the Android advertising ID, IP address (from which an approximate region is derived), device model and OS version, interactions with the ads shown, and basic diagnostic data such as crash reports.

Google acts as an independent controller for this processing. We receive only aggregate, non-personal reports. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and switch off ad personalisation in Settings → Google → Ads. Google's own terms apply: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Generation packs are sold through Google Play. Card details, billing address and Google account information are handled entirely by Google and never reach us. The App receives only a confirmation that a valid purchase exists, which the server uses to credit your generations.

6. What we never collect

No name, email address or phone number. No account or password — there is no sign-up. No location. No contacts, calendar, messages, files or browsing history. No access to your gallery beyond the single photo you pick for each generation.

7. Permissions

PermissionWhy it is needed
INTERNETSending the photo for generation, loading scenes and ads, verifying purchases.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEDetecting whether a connection is available before starting a generation.
AD_IDRequired by Android so AdMob can read the advertising identifier.
BILLINGEnables in-app purchase of generation packs.
Camera / galleryRequested by the system only at the moment you pick a photo, and only for that photo.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data. Do not upload photographs of children.

9. Your rights

Since we hold no account and no personal profile, there is nothing to export or correct. Uploaded photos are deleted automatically after generation. To remove everything associated with your device, uninstall the App — the device identifier goes with it. For data processed by Google, exercise your rights through your Google account settings.

10. Content and responsibility

Generated images are artificial. They depict fictional scenes and are intended for personal entertainment. Do not use them to impersonate anyone, to mislead, or in any way that suggests a real event took place.

11. Changes and contact

Updates are published at this address with a new date. Questions: o9753241@gmail.com.
